Constitutional and Administrative Law & Public Policy
A constitutional and administrative law and public policy resource for counsel, governments, and businesses
I founded Choudhry Law to offer strategic legal advice and resources to counsel, governments, businesses and individuals engaged in Canadian and international constitutional law cases, judicial reviews and administrative tribunal hearings, and public policy matters.
My goal is to provide savvy, smart, and cost-effective help in whatever way is most valuable to clients: doing the detailed work myself, advising other counsel on how to research and frame their own arguments, or something in-between.
I act as an advisor, a sounding board, a second-chair drafter. In many cases, I am that invaluable outside voice, lending credence to my clients’ ideas and approach and helping them manage their own clients. Simply put, I partner with clients to help them succeed and enhance their reputation.
Practical, agile and solution-oriented
With over two decades of experience in public policy and constitutional and administrative law, I am practical and agile. I am able to dive into cases, quickly identifying not only the issues but, also the arguments most likely to succeed. I am well-versed in the complexities of constitutional litigation, and I know how to pitch to judges. This is especially important for appellate matters given the pressures courts face to select only the most compelling cases.
Moreover, my international experience in mediation and negotiation has given me the insight, understanding, and skill set to work with governments at all levels and to focus on solutions.
